‘Exceptional’
is the only word to describe the climate in Tenerife, which
offers the world's lowest temperature difference between summer
and winter.
The average annual temperature is a reassuring
20°C, soaring to the high 20's in the summer and remaining
pleasantly warm throughout the winter. Even on its hottest
days, the temperature rarely gets higher than 28-30°C,
making for an extremely comfortable stay. Tenerife does not
have a rainy season, but the island does see an occasional
shower between November and March.
It's an addictive climate because it's so
predicatable: year-round sunshine and lots of it! It's not
too muggy, not too dry, not too still, not too windy, not
too hot during the day, not too chilly in the evenings - it's
absolutely ideal as a holiday destination at any time of the
year.
The fantastic thing about Tenerife is that
you can virtually choose the weather you want and it is possible
to experience four seasons in one day. In short: if you’re
in the mood to be scorched, head south; if you fancy cooling
down, head north.
Simple as that!
